Recognised as one of Australia’s most innovative developers, Kris and his team have launched the Assemble Futures Model – both a ‘rent-to-own’ pathway to home ownership and an alternative business model for build-to-rent and build-to-sell property development.
The model brings together affordable housing, social housing, specialist disability accommodation (SDA), on-market rental and build-to-sell dwellings and is supported by an structured funding model backed by private capital and superannuation funds. The current pipeline has a combined end value of over $3.0 billion comprising 5,000 apartments and over 100,000sqm of non-residential programming.
The Assemble Futures Model is the culmination of three years of research, both locally and overseas, and is the product of a vision to create fairer, financially accessible, better-designed housing in Australia.
Kris will be delivering a keynote on the Assemble Futures Model and its role in addressing Australia’s housing market challenges.
